MVUSD Represented in Rose Parade Performance

Students and alumni from Moreno Valley Unified School District represented the district on January 1 by participating with Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps during the 130th Rose Parade in Pasadena.

Vista Heights Drama Wins Awards!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Drama competition on November 3rd..  Vista Heights received awards in 10 out of 11 categories earning an Honorable Mention Sweepstakes award and placed 7th OVERALL out of 21 middle schools.

Canyon Springs Hosts First Field Tournament at New Stadium

For the first time in 20 years, the Canyon Springs High School Cougar Canyon Regiment hosted the 21st Annual Canyon Springs Field Tournament in their own campus in their brand new stadium. With its long history at Valley View High School, coordinating the event was a new experience for all Canyon Springs band members and Booster parents. After months of planning, the event was a great success.

Elementary Art Exhibit

Our first trimester elementary art students will be sharing their talent at the Riverside Art Museum on Saturday, October 27th from 2-4pm. The public is welcome to attend!

Canyon Springs Hosts Middle School Band Night

The Canyon Springs High School Cougar Canyon Regiment Band hosted a successful Middle School Band Night on Friday during the school’s football game with the help of Greg Solomon, Coordinator of Visual and Performing Arts.

A Growing Elementary Band

Moreno Valley Unified School District’s elementary band program is off to a strong start for the 2018-19 school year. About 900 students have enrolled in the program an increase of about 100 students over last year’s enrollment numbers.
