Canyon Springs High School and Valley View High School are off to a great start of the fall marching band season.
On Saturday, October 20 at the Baldwin Park Field Tournament, Canyon Springs High School’s band earned their highest first-show score in nine years with a score of 66.15.
Valley View High School’s Crimson Regiment took home 2nd place in class 3A at the RCC Big Orange Classic on October 20. The school’s color guard also won the Sweepstakes Award for “Best Auxiliary Performance.”
“We’re very proud the investment we have put into the Visual and Performing Arts is paying off,” said Board Vice President Jesus Holguin, “Our students are receiving the best instruction from amazing directors and performing extremely well in their competitions.”
